Spielberg Wants Chris Hemsworth For Robopocalypse

Steven Spielberg’s planned adaptation of the Daniel H. Wilson novel Robopocalypse is coming to life. They have a script (maybe), Spielberg will be directing and they have a 2014 release date. All they need now are some actors, and Spielberg has at least one person in mind.

The legendary director wants Chris Hemsworth to be in the film according to Deadline. No official offer has been made yet, but I think Hemsworth would be good for the movie. He’s shown time and again that he can deliver a great performance. Plus, with titles like Thor, The AvengersCabin in the Woods and the few seconds he was in Star Trek, he seems like the kind of guy you would want for a movie as nerdy as one about a robot apocalypse.

Robopocalypse is scheduled for release on April 25th, 2014.
