Marvel Heroes Appearing In An Episode Of Phineas and Ferb

Superheroes have had some weird team ups over the years with people who aren’t superheroes. But I don’t think any can match this one. At Comic-Con it was announced that Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and The Hulk will be appearing in the Disney TV show Phineas and Ferb.

The plot, as it is, revolves around Dr. Doofenschmirtz, the antagonist of the series I guess, stealing the four heroes powers and teaming up with classic Marvel villains Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom and M.O.D.O.K.

Nevermind the fact that even though the Hulk lost his powers he’s still the Hulk and Iron Man actually doesn’t have any powers, why these four villains? Venom is the only one that makes absolute sense to me, but they couldn’t come up with anyone better for Iron Man than Whiplash? And what the fuck is the Red Skull doing there? He’s Captain America’s enemy, not Thor’s. Did Disney think that Loki would be too scary or something? M.O.D.O.K. makes enough sense I guess with the whole Intelligencia thing, but again, they couldn’t think of anyone better?

Whatever. Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel is scheduled to be aired in the summer of 2013.
