Wii U Release Date and Prices For North America Announced

Today Nintendo announced that the Wii U will be released in North America on November 18th. The console will be released with two configurations.

The Basic Set is priced at $299.99, and will include:

• 8GB of memory

• Wii U Console

• Wii U GamePad

• AC adapter for each

• HDMI cable

• Wii U sensor bar

The Deluxe Set is priced at $349.99, and will include:

• 32 GB of memory

• Wii U Console

• Wii U GamePad

• AC adapter for each

• HDMI cable

• Wii U sensor bar

• GamePad Charging Cradle

• Stands for GamePad and Console

Nintendo seems to have taken the Microsoft approach to console colouring with the “black is better” motif.

These consoles will be coming to Europe November 30th. Sensor bars will not be included with the European consoles.
