3 Sunday Shonen Mangas come to an End

This week’s issue of Shonen Sunday magazine featured the final chapters of three manga: AKB48 Satsujin Jiken by Gosho Aoyama, Yasushi Akimoto, and Masaki Gotō, Kotetsu no Hannapashira by Hirayuki Nishimori, and Koakuma Ouden: Sencolle! by Noriyuki Konishi. The simultaneous ends of the three manga is being advertised as a “triple climax”.

AKB48 is a tie-in manga to a recent series of candy commercials starring the all female idol group: AKB48, Kotetsu no Hannapashira began it’s serialization back in 2010, and Sencolle! is a tie-in to the Sengoku Collection media franchise and was first serialized earlier this year.
