Blade of the Immortal Manga End Date Announced

Hiroaki Samura announced that the final chapter of his historical manga would be in the February 2013 issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine. Blade of the Immortal began circulation in the same magazine in December 1993, and its first 29 volumes have sold 5 million copies. The manga got an anime adaptation in 2008, and Dark Horse Comics published the 25th volume of the manga in North America in August.
