Ghost in the Shell Arise Event to be Streamed in English

The worldwide streaming launch event for the new Ghost in the Shell series has been set for the 12th of February at 9 pm Tokyo time(7 am EST). This event will feature various announcements, a promotional video, and a screening of the opening sequence for the anime. There will also be English interpreters present at the event so that it can be streamed live, in English.

In order to help promote the event and the new series, Bandai is offering free English subbed episodes on it’s YouTube channel until the 20th of February. There are some licensing issues however, and the episodes aren’t available in certain countries, like the USA and Canada (believe me, I checked). Fortunately, there will be no such limits placed upon the streaming event.
