Next HotD Chapter to be Released Simultaneously in North America and Japan

The announcement was made on Friday that Yen Press, a North American publisher, would be releasing the next chapter of the newly resumed Highschool of the Dead digitally at the same time the physical manga is being published in Japan. It is unclear whether or not this will be a continuing trend for future chapters of the manga, as the release schedule within Japan hasn’t even been finalized, but Yen Press has said that fan support would “definitely help future simultaneous serializations happen.”

And in case you haven’t already read this somewhere, yes, HotD is returning after a hiatus started in March 2011.
