Aniplex to Release 2 Madoka Magica Films in July

Aniplex of America announced on Wednesday that it will be releasing the first two Puella Magi Madoka Magica films on Blu-ray disc on July 30. Both standard and Collector’s Edition will feature the two films (Beginnings and Eternal) in one set and is being released in the US, Canada, England, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, along with Central and South America.

Both editions will also include a Japanese audio track with subtitles in Japanese, English, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean, as well as featuring extras like a theatrical trailer, audio commentary from the voice cast, and a postcard from Aniplex of America. 

In addition to the above, the Collector’s Edition will include new cover art, a deluxe booklet, a soundtrack CD, and a digipak, along with an English translation of the booklet.

The CE will retail for US $129.98 and the Standard Edition will retail for US $109.98
