Bryan Singer Confirms Bishop and Warpath for Days of Future Past

Bryan Singer, Twitter maven and director of the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, has taken to Twitter once again to give us updates on the movie. Below is a Vine video Singer posted a few days back, confirming that Bishop and Warpath will be in Future Past.

We already had a good idea that Bishop was going to be in the movie when Singer announced that The Intouchables star Omar Sy had joined the cast, but Warpath is kind of a surprise. Since Warpath is a Native American character, and last month Native American actor Booboo Stewart signed on, it’s likely Stewart will be Warpath.

For those who don’t know, Warpath is an Apache mutant who has super strength, speed, and reflexes. He is the brother of short-lived X-Man Thunderbird, who had similar but weaker powers.

Bishop is mutant future cop who came back in time to catch future criminals and eventually joined the X-Men. But now things are really weird with him and he’s a villain now or something. There are too many X-Men books to keep track of nowadays.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for release on July 18th, 2014.
