Naruto’s Kishimoto to Publish Mario One-shot

Viz Media, the North American manga publisher, released a four page preview of the upcoming one-shot manga titled Mario by Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto. The full story will be published in the next issue of the English version of Weekly Shonen Jump, on May 13th.

With Naruto coming to a close sometime in the somewhat near future, it will be interesting to see where Kishimoto will go for his next work. Whether or not this could be a start of a new series already still remains to be seen.
