The Walking Dead Season Two Trailer and Details Revealed

On Monday Telltale teased the follow-up to their award winning point and click adventure game, The Walking Dead, saying they would be releasing more details today… And they did…

From what little was shown in the reveal trailer above, it looks like season two picks up not too long after the end of season one. This time around we will take control of Clementine as she tries to survive by herself since *SPOILER ALERT* basically everyone in her group died.

Along with that reveal trailer, the pre-order for the game went up, as well. The season pass is currently available for pre-order on the Telltale Online Store and through Steam for PC and Mac. Normally the season pass costs $24.99, but right now it’s 10% off and you can get it for $22.49.

If you buy the game through Telltale, though, you can get a little added bonus. For just the additional cost of shipping and handling, at the end of season two you will get a Collector’s Edition DVD.

Now some of you out there might not have played the first season of The Walking Dead or the 400 Days DLC, and may be worried that if you want to get into season two you’ll have to buy those two. Well, Telltale has thought of you poor, unfortunate souls. While they strongly recommend that play season one and 400 Days, you don’t need either of them to play season two.

The Walking Dead season two will be launching this year on PC, Mac, current-gen consoles, and iOS. More platforms will be announced later.
