Seven Seas to License The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer
While there hasn’t yet been an official announcement, this post on the Seven Seas Twitter…
New license – can you guess what it is? https://t.co/iMc7mCSMky

…leaves very little else to the imagination as to what they are referring. Seven Seas has secured the license to bring Hoshi no Samidare (or the more awesome The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer) and will be bringing it across the Pacific some time in the future. Unfortunately there have been no additional details released as of yet, but I’m certainly excited.
For the uninitiated, The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer follows the exploits of 12 psychics and their princess as they try to prevent the world from being destroyed by a literal giant hammer in space put there by a wizard for just such a purpose. If that were the end of it, it wouldn’t really be significant, but the main character (one of the psychics) and the princess are only fighting to stop the hammer so they can destroy the planet themselves. The manga is filled with brilliant characterization, a great plot, and I encourage anyone who hasn’t read it to go do so. And then buy it when it comes out.
