Countdown sites are becoming more and more popular these days. Most times they countdown for days, or sometimes weeks, before revealing whatever it is the countdown was setup for. But Valve is trying something a bit different, setting up a countdown timer for later today.
Valve has launched a countdown timer for Team Fortress 2, which has “suspense” in the URL so you know it’s gonna be good. The countdown was launched today, on June 17th, 2014, and will reach zero tonight at 8PM EST. That is the shortest countdown I’ve ever heard of in terms of video games.
