Pre-52 Booster Gold and Blue Beetle To Make a Comeback

In a continuing trend of bringing back older versions of characters before DC’s New 52 relaunch, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle make a return in the pages of Justice League 3000 issue #12.

These versions of the characters are specifically being pulled out of a past run of Justice League that Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis, current writers of Justice League 3000, also wrote back in 1987. Their highly acclaimed run, also known as the Bwa-ha-ha-ha era of the Justice League for its funny approach for a team book at the time, also featured many longtime fans’ favorite versions of these two characters to date.

I will tell you one thing. In issue #8, the status quo of this book changes, and by issue #12, it won’t be the same Justice League as you saw in Justice League 3000 #1.
