Steve Jobs Dies At Age 56

Back in August of this year, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that he was stepping down from his duties stating he “could no longer meet [his] duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO.”

Yesterday it was announced by Apple that Jobs had died.

“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being,” the company said in a statement. “Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”

I really do not care where you stand when it comes to Apple products, the majority of assholes that use them or Steve Jobs. The man was a legend and a visionary. He did things that most could never dream of and he brought us so much. Back in the late 80’s if you would have said Apple would be where it is today because of Steve Jobs, no one would have believed you. He was more than a business man, he was a creator of many things tech. I am no Apple fanboy, I am far from it, but I do realize what this man did for tech and appreciate it very much. Steve Jobs, I will miss you and so will many others. Thank you for all that you have done. May you rest in piece.
