System Shock Returns With System Shock 3 Announcement

That’s right, THE progenitor of so many now standard features in modern gaming, System Shock, is receiving a completely modern third installment.

OtherSide Entertainment, helmed by Paul Neurath, the guy who started the original System Shock dev Looking Glass Studios, will be handling the development duties under supervision of the current owner of the franchise, Night Dive Studios.

Details in regard to the game itself are non-existent, though interested gamers can sign up for the company’s mailing list to enjoy the opportunity of sharing their opinions on a few key details related to the game’s development: console preference, experience with the franchise, and interest in virtual reality gameplay.
