Masashi Kishimoto, author of the popular Naruto manga, has stated that the “series is rising toward its climax”, according to the Saturday evening edition of the Asahi Shinbun paper. The author, who has been writing Naruto since 1999, went on to state that “How the story will end has already been set in my mind, so the story is just ‘racing headlong in that direction'”. No timeline has been announced for how much longer the series will run.

Didn’t he also say there is going to be 2 to 3 more movies 1 taking place after the manga ends.
That’s always a possibility. Naruto does love to throw movies at us fairly often. Hopefully they don’t suck as much as the last one
