DC Announces New Release Dates For Batman, Inc.

Last month, in response to the Aurora shootings, DC decided to postpone the release of Batman, Incorporated 3 by one month because of a reportedly disturbing scene in the issue. This postponement means that DC will have to change the release dates of a few of the following issues in the series, as well.

Yesterday, DC sent out a press release to retailers outlining the new release schedule for Batman, Inc. issues 3, 0, 4 and 5.

“Retailers, following the recent announcement of the new on-sale date for Batman, Incorporated #3, here are the new on-sale dates for all solicited issues of the series:

Batman, Incorporated #3 (MAY120220) has a new on-sale date of August 22, as recently announced. Because of this change, this issue will be made returnable at a later date.

Batman, Incorporated #0 (JUL120150) will keep its current on-sale date of September 26.

Batman, Incorporated #4 (JUN120173) has a new on-sale date of October 24. Because of this change, this issue will be made returnable at a later date.

Batman, Incorporated #5 (AUG120176) will be resolicited in the September Previews for November on sale. All current orders placed under this item code are cancelled.”
