Castle Wolfenstein Is Getting A Movie

I have always seen the Wolfenstein franchise as greatly under-appreciated. Return To Castle Wolfenstein was one of the first modern first person shooters I played. It was also one of the first games I played online. Having a good relationship with Wolfenstein makes me really excited to hear that there will be a movie based on the 1981 game, Castle Wolfenstein. Roger Avary is lined up to write and direct this Nazi-filled adventure. the film has been described as an action adventure similar to Captain America and Inglorious Basterds. I can see the connections to Captain America, both involving Nazis and the occult, although in Captain America the Nazis have to science the magic to get magical science while in Wolfenstein they straight up summon z0mbies and then promptly lose control of them. No release date for the film has been announced yet.
