The official site for the upcoming anime Danganronpa Kibō no Gakuen to Zetsubō no Kōkōsei The Animation has announced that the show will be adapted into a manga, premiering in the May issue of Shonen Ace, shipping on March 26. Takashi Tsukimi will be providing the art for the manga.
The series began as a PSP action-adventure game by Spike Chunsoft, and the anime adaptation will be featuring the same cast as the game. The story goes that a group of exceptional high school students are locked within the school, and the only way out is to murder a fellow student without being caught. Naturally, somebody dies and the remaining students hold trials to determine who the culprit is.
The anime will premiere later this year.
