Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 2 Aiming for this Fall

Last week, fans of Telltale’s amazing The Walking Dead were all a bit let down when they found out the release window for the second season. Dan Connors, CEO of Telltale, told Eurogamer that Season Two was due to be released in fall 2014, and the internet groaned in frustration. Wishing to get confirmation of this, Game Informer reached out to Telltale. They responded with the following statement…

The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for Telltale’s series.

So yes, the second season is currently set for release this fall. Obviously, things can happen between now and then that could change this release date, possibly pushing it back to 2014. But for right now, I am psyched.

I love The Walking Dead. The fact that I’m going to finish Season One this year, have Season Two hopefully by the end, and anything Walking Dead that Telltale puts out before release, this is a good year for me.
