Gatchaman Crowds Movie Under Consideration

Nippon Television Network Corporation has recently acquired a controlling share of the anime production company Tatsunoko. This has led to the announcement concerning the potential for a movie of the Gatchaman Crowds anime as well as a sequel to the series.

Crowds is an anime about a group of lawmen/women, called Gatchaman, that possess some form of spiritual power, manifest by special suits called NOTE. The Gatchaman, consisting of both aliens and humans, are responsible for upholding the will of the ruling council and hunting down alien criminals who have come to Earth in violation of the probation of the council.
