Tatsunoko Developing New Speed Racer Series

Global art licensing magazine Total Licensing announced in its most recent issue that Tatsunoko is currently working on a brand new Speed Racer series. They will also be introducing a new licensing program for the property.

The new series is being aimed towards a “modern audience,” so we could see something similar to what Tatsunoko did with Gatchaman Crowds, which was a new version of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman.

Tatsunoko is also working on developing its overseas business, and is currently looking for and working with partners “to bring exciting new content to broadcast and merchandising.”
