Settlement Reached In Activision, Ex-Infinity Ward Case

The courtroom drama was set to take place tomorrow June 1st between the creators of the Modern Warfare games and Activision. It seems that is not the case now as the case will not go before a jury and has been resolved.

An attorney representing Jason West and Vince Zampella, the former heads of Infinity Ward has said that an agreement has been reached in the case. However, terms of that settlement are strictly confidential.

There was no objections from either party with the settlement. The judge, upon wrapping up the proceedings, congratulated the gathering for an “excellent job.”

“No comment” from West and his attorney as they left the courtroom, the two go on to an elevator, where they then talked about their favorite My Little Pony.

This brings an official end to the lawsuit between Activision and Jason West and Vince Zampella that has been going on sense March 2010. I am sure Activision did not want this dark cloud over their head going into E3, which starts next week.
