Earlier this month Valve announced that the Cold Stream DLC along with a game update would be released for the PC and Xbox 360 versions of Left 4 Dead 2 on July 24. Yesterday when I logged in to Xbox Live and found that there was no update, no DLC and no announcements about a delay, my first thought was that I was likely just too early in the day. When I logged in today and found the same thing I suspected that something was wrong.
As it turns out the PC DLC and update were released without any issues, while the Xbox 360 version is having some trouble (seemingly on Microsoft’s end). Valve says they want to release the DLC “soon” but can’t give us an actual day that “soon” might be.
