DeadDivided We Fall has ended, leaving the Ultimate universe in a pretty bad way. Washington is gone, the southern states have seceded from the union, and there are roving squadrons of sentient Nimrod Sentinels killing any mutants that aren’t in the concentration camps. United We Stand has just started and promises to change all of that, leaving the Ultimate universe permanently altered until the next big event the permanently alters the Ultimate universe.
But the changes may not necessarily be for the better, as this cover for Ultimates 19 shows.
That’s right, the Iron Patriot is coming to the Ultimate Universe. For those who don’t know who the Iron Patriot is, in the main Marvel universe he is Norman Osborn wearing some of Tony Stark’s armor that he stole. He lead a team of evil Avengers as well as H.A.M.M.E.R., an evil version of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also destroyed Asgard, the home of Thor and the Norse Gods which was floating above Oklahoma. This doesn’t mean that the Ultimate Iron Patriot will be Norman Osborn or that he will be evil, but it would probably be a good idea for S.H.I.E.L.D. to keep an eye on him.
