Yes, it is coming up on that time of year again. Time for Sarcastic Gamer’s Extra Life charity. For three years now, Extra Life has raised money for hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network by doing that one thing we all love so much: Gaming.
On October 15th starting at 8 AM, we here at Death’s Door Prods will participate in the 24 hour gaming marathon. We will be playing old games, new games, shitty games, and great games non-stop until 8 AM the following morning. But we cannot do this alone. We will need anyone’s and everyone’s help.
At the point of writing this post, only myself and DarkstarMatryx are going to be participating, and we could use your support. My goal this year is to raise $200 for the SickKids Foundation in Toronto while Darkstar is shooting for $1000 for Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. If any other staff join I will update this post with their hospital and goal.
I know we don’t have a lot of people on the site so this probably won’t be seen by many, but anyone who does please donate. To sponsor someone for the event it is $1 an hour. Basically $24.
