BBC Series “Sherlock” to get a Manga Adaptation

The October issue of Young Ace magazine announced that the artist “Jay.” is creating a manga adaptation of the popular Sherlock TV series to appear in the next issue of the magazine. The first issue of the manga will tell the “A Study in Pink” story from the show.

The show features Benedict Cumberbatch (Atonement, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and Martin Freeman (The Office, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Hobbit) as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson respectively, re-imagined in modern day London. It has two seasons of three episodes, each 90 minutes long, with plans for a third.

Regardless of how you feel about the actual news part of this article, go and watch the show if you haven’t already. It is brilliant.
